Abstract

In the current era of globalization, school organizations must make changes in a continuous and creative, to

seek ideas and innovation by applying learning in the organization so that the school become learning

organization (learning organization). To make the school as learning organization, the teacher as the main

character in the school needs to develop himself become a learner teacher. The learner teacher is a teacher

who always learns and develops their potential and capacity as a professional teacher. The development of

teacher capacity as a learner teacher can be done through the strategy of organizational learning in schools

until the realization of the school as a learning organization. The implementation of organizational learning

strategy in schools can be done through three stages: (1) learning skill, (2) learning level, and (3) type of

learning. In the context of learning organizations, schools need to apply organizational learning to improve the

ability of teachers in schools to be learner teachers. The success of schools in shaping learner teachers is largely

determined by the ability of schools to develop their schools into learning organizations. The essence of a

learning organization is learning. Only schools that want to develop their institution to become a learning

organization, willing to learn and improve continuously will be a superior school.
