Abstract

Human relations within an organization are an important factor in creating a harmonious, productive,

and conducive work environment. This study aims to describe how interpersonal relationships can

improve employee performance within an organization. The research employed a descriptive

qualitative approach with data collection techniques including interviews, observations,

documentation, and literature studies. The findings indicate that good relationships between leaders

and employees, as well as among fellow employees, can enhance work motivation, enthusiasm, loyalty,

communication, and cooperation within the organization. Effective human relations are also able to

create a sense of comfort and mutual trust, enabling employees to work optimally. On the other hand,

less harmonious relationships may lead to conflicts, communication barriers, low work discipline, and

decreased organizational productivity. Therefore, human relations become an important aspect that

must be considered in organizational management to achieve sustainable improvement in employee

performance.
