Analisis Apersepsi Kisah Rasulullah SAW Dengan Seorang Pemuda Yang Hendak Berzina Dalam Pembelajaran PAI

Aperception is the initial phase of the learning process that plays a crucial role in preparing students’ psychological and emotional readiness before engaging with the main subject matter. In the context of Islamic Religious Education (IRE), aperception functions not only as a bridge to cognitive understanding but also as a medium for internalizing Islamic values and fostering character development. This article aims to examine the use of the story of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and a young man who expressed the desire to commit adultery as an aperception strategy in Islamic Religious Education learning for Grade X, Chapter VI, which discusses avoiding free association and immoral behavior in order to protect human dignity and honor. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach through library research using content analysis techniques. The findings indicate that the story is effective as an aperception strategy because it embodies values of empathy, dialogical interaction, and a humanistic approach that align with the developmental characteristics of adolescents. Furthermore, the story is able to connect students’ everyday life experiences with Islamic teachings in a contextual and reflective manner. Therefore, the implementation of aperception based on the exemplary stories of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) contributes significantly to improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education learning, particularly in the affective domain and character development
